Silent Dhikr
Salam, just testing my mobile blogging abilities. I heard from a khalifah of shaykh zulfiqar (db) that silent dhikr is better than dhikr with the tongue.
'Abdullah ibn Busr reported that a man said, "Messenger of Allah, the laws of Islam are too much for me. Tell me something I can cling to." He said, "Your tongue should remain moist with the remembrance of Allah." [at-Tirmidhi]

ّYes silent zikr is the best.
But that of a person who has attained a perpetual, sustainable and mutually congenial relationship with Allah SWT (i.e he is sahib-e-nisbet).
The audible modes of zikr are only a means to achieve this stage!
Aunty mabel, aunty mabel....
muraqabah is the way to go.
hmm weird...
